A 21.79 kL sectional hot-dip galvanised steel water storage tank installed at eZambuzane, a rural area near Dutywa, for main contractor Tyeks Plant Hire and Construction.
A rural water scheme at eZambuzane near Dutywa needed a compact, durable storage tank that could be transported to site in parts and built quickly on a fenced reservoir site.
A sectional hot-dip galvanised tank measuring 3.66 m × 2.44 m × 2.44 m (3 × 2 × 2 panels) was delivered flat-packed and bolted together on a raised concrete plinth, then fitted with an access ladder and pipe connections.
The site now has around 20 kL of effective water storage, delivered for Tyeks Plant Hire and Construction as part of the local water supply works.
This project was completed with our steel tank manufacturing partner, Videx, and published with their permission. We deliver the same engineering, manufacturing and installation standard for commercial, industrial, farming and residential water storage across Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Kariega (Uitenhage), Jeffreys Bay, East London and the wider Eastern Cape — plus temporary water bladder rentals while a tank is being built or repaired.
