Project Overview
Two cylindrical Aluzinc bladder tanks supplied, delivered and installed on a large retail development, giving 631 kL of dedicated fire water storage tied into the site's sprinkler system.
The Challenge
A big-box retail development needed a guaranteed fire water reserve for its sprinkler system before occupation, on a site where the tank pad area was already fixed by the building layout.
Our Solution
Two matched cylindrical Aluzinc tanks of 315.59 kL each were manufactured off site and erected on prepared plinths, splitting the reserve across two vessels so the store keeps fire cover while one tank is drained for inspection.

- Tank sizing and fire reserve calculation
- Off-site manufacture of Aluzinc shell and internal bladder liner
- Delivery, erection and levelling on prepared plinths
- Connection to sprinkler supply and pump set
The Result
631 kL of ASIB-compliant fire water storage commissioned and handed over with the sprinkler installation, in a footprint the site could accommodate.
