Project Overview
A hot-dip galvanised sectional steel water storage tank built to SANS 10329 for a mining project, chosen for a compact footprint and long service life in a harsh, dusty environment.
The Challenge
A mine site needed reliable potable and process water storage in a small, awkward space, in a dry, abrasive climate where corrosion and maintenance access are constant concerns.
Our Solution
A 20 kL sectional pressed-panel tank was specified in hot-dip galvanised steel, assembled panel by panel on site so it could be carried into a position a pre-built cylindrical tank could not reach.

The Result
A compact, long-life water store commissioned on a live mining site, with panels that can be individually replaced rather than the whole tank.
